How Each Action Works
When to use: Harvest is done and you have the weight recorded.
- Select the crop from the list above
- Enter the harvested weight in kg
- Add an optional note or photo
- Click Mark Ready — the contributor is notified
⚠️ Once marked Ready, status is locked until the contributor acts on it.
When to use: You notice a problem — pests, disease, moisture, rot — that needs review before harvest.
- Click Observe on the affected crop row
- Describe the issue clearly in the note field
- Add a photo if available (strongly recommended)
- Submit — the crop is now locked and admin/contributor are alerted
The crop stays locked until you or an admin resolves the observation.
When to use: The issue flagged under Observation is now fixed or no longer applies.
- Find the crop in Observation state in the list
- Click Resolve
- Enter a short resolution note (required)
- Submit — status returns to Active; crop is unlocked
When to use: The full harvest cycle for this crop is finished and no further actions are expected.
- Ensure status is Ready or Active (not Observation)
- Click Complete on the crop row
- Confirm in the dialog — this is permanent
⚠️ Completed crops cannot be re-opened. Contact admin if you completed by mistake.
When to use: Before changing status, when disputing a log entry, or when auditing actions.
The live log panel in the sidebar shows all actions taken in this session. On the real dashboard, history loads per-crop and can be filtered by date, actor type, and action.

Status Reference
Active▼
Default state. Crop is in the harvest window. You can mark Ready, add to Observation, or mark Complete from here.
Ready▼
Harvest weight recorded by guardian. The contributor has been notified and may accept, reject, or send to pool. Guardian cannot edit while in this state.
Under Observation▼
Issue flagged. Crop is locked for all parties until guardian or admin resolves it. Always include clear notes and a photo when flagging.
Completed▼
Full harvest cycle finished. Record is immutable. Contact admin if completed in error — they can override with an audit note.
