Where are these services currently available?
We have launched in the Chandigarh Tricity region. Expansion to other cities across India is already in progress, and we aim to go PAN India soon.
What are FarmCoins and how do they work?
FarmCoins are earned when customers choose to send their surplus vegetables to the Community Pool instead of taking delivery. Once those pooled veggies are sold, FarmCoins are credited to the customerās account, which can then be redeemed to buy other vegetables within the community.
How do customers benefit from booking a farm?
Customers get seasonal organic vegetables grown exclusively for them, transparent pricing, doorstep delivery, and the satisfaction of supporting local farmers.
What does a Soil Guardian need to start?
A minimum of 2,000 sq. yards of cultivable land is required. Once registered, Soil Guardians can grow seasonal crops, track requests on the ShopApni dashboard, and earn FarmCoins for their contributions.
How is surplus produce managed?
Any surplus harvest can be sent to the Community Pool. This ensures zero wastage, wider customer access, and additional earnings for farm subscribers
How do deliveries work for customers?
Weekly baskets of fresh vegetables are delivered directly to customersā homes. Deliveries are monitored by ShopApni to ensure quality and reliability.
Can FarmCoins be converted into cash?
FarmCoins are primarily designed for community exchange and redemption. However, Farm Subscribers can convert their earnings into monetary value once produce is sold through the platform.
Do Soil Guardians need to reserve their entire farm after registration?
No. As customers join, a Soil Guardian prepares 500 sq. ft. miniāfarms step by step. The remaining land can continue to beĀ usedĀ asĀ before.
